Gifts-in-Kind

Many individuals and companies have generously donated goods and services to Delaware County Habitat for Humanity. We are always in need of construction materials or office products and equipment. An in-kind donation of goods or services can have a monetary value placed on it by the donor for tax purposes. Our Wish List offers guidance as to what types of donations we can use. Volunteers skilled in teaching construction techniques often volunteer their time to teach other volunteers. Another way to help is by providing your advertising, public relations, marketing, or other expertise to Delaware County Habitat for Humanity.

Tradespeople who provide their services on the construction site help keep construction costs down. For example, licensed professionals such as plumbers, electricians, roofers, and concrete workers who donate their skill, time and/or materials are a valuable asset to keeping a house within affordable means for a family.
