Habitat for Humanity-Delaware County has completed seven homes for seven families. We are currently concentrating
our efforts in the City of Chester. Here we see the greatest need for improved housing. Toward this end, Habitat for
Humanity-Delaware County has been meeting with city officials and has joined the city in its efforts to increase
home ownership and eliminate substandard housing. Our next project will be at 836/838 McDowell Ave in Chester. This project is sponsored by the Episcopal Academy Parents Association, and will be known as the EAPA House. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 15th, 2004, and work is scheduled to begin in late summer 2004. Please check this site for construction updates as work progresses. |
